Intellectual LLC, doing business as Intellectual & Co., Int & Co., Intellectual Collective, Intellectual Public Benefit Company, Intellectual PBC, and Intellectual (“INTELLECTUAL”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Statutory Public Benefit Limited Liability Company incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States of America. One of our founding principles is the utmost respect to privacy.
We comply with the requirements of the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce with respect to personal information of the types described below that is transferred from the European Economic Area and Switzerland to the United States. We have certified our participation in the Data Privacy Frameworks to the Department of Commerce. Intellectual’s registration can be viewed here. This Notice only applies to personal information within the scope of the Intellectual Data Privacy Framework certifications.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Data Privacy Frameworks, Intellectual is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
Pursuant to the Data Privacy Frameworks, EU individuals have the right to obtain our confirmation of whether we maintain personal information relating to you in the United States. Upon request, we will provide you with access to the personal information that we hold about you. You may also correct, amend, or delete the personal information we hold about you. An individual who seeks access to, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data transferred to the United States under Data Privacy Frameworks, should direct their query to privacy@intellectual.co. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable time frame.
Intellectual’s accountability for personal data that it receives in the United States under the Data Privacy Frameworks and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Data Privacy Frameworks. In particular, Intellectual remains responsible and liable under the Data Privacy Frameworks if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Intellectual proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
In compliance with the Data Privacy Frameworks, Intellectual commits to resolving complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to Data Privacy Frameworks. European Union individuals with Data Privacy Frameworks inquiries or complaints should first contact Intellectual at:

Intellectual has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the Data Privacy Frameworks to an independent dispute resolution mechanism, the EU Data Protection Authorities (DPAs). If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en for more information and to file a complaint. This service is provided free of charge to you.
If your Data Privacy Frameworks complaint cannot be resolved through the above channels, under certain conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration for some residual claims not resolved by other redress mechanisms.
